About Attorney

Debra Postil is a Senior Trial and Appellate Attorney at D Law, a trauma-informed law practice, serving defendants faced with criminal charges and plaintiffs impacted by personal injuries from defective or toxic products or sexual abuse and traumatic brain injuries.  With her 19 years of combined experience as a trial and appellate attorney in civil and criminal law, Debra has dedicated her career to persistently pursuing justice for individuals who have been negatively impacted by the intentional or negligent actions of others.

Resilience and justice are the backbones of Debra’s practice. As a former veteran criminal prosecutor, Debra has litigated the most unspeakable cases of sexual abuse, violence, vehicular injuries, fraud, and gross negligence.  Debra believes today where we are seeing so many mass torts injuries, there is no better time than the present for supporting those injured and for the justice system and community to really listen and help support them – accountability makes such a tremendous difference.  Debra’s mission for every client is to vigorously advocate for their rights and empower them to secure the best outcome they deserve under the law.

Debra is an advocate across the board, both in the courtroom and in her personal life. Outside of the courtroom, Debra continues her commitment to the community in building resiliency in those impacted by injuries, having founded Women Wonder Writers, a mentoring and publishing nonprofit serving individuals impacted by trauma with social-emotional learning curriculum in schools, communities and corrections.  These community efforts have earned Debra recognitions over the years, including the Riverside County Community Hero Award.
